Q. Where can your tattoo studio be found?
A. We are located at 120 Acre Lane in Brixton, South West London. We are a short walk away from both Brixton tube station and Clapham North tube station. Please visit our contact us page for a map and full directions.
Q. I want a tattoo but am not sure what I want?
A. If you want a tattoo, there isn’t much point in
contacting us until you have a rough idea of what you want. We can’t
think for you as a tattoo is very individual and what one-person likes
another may not. You can call into the studio to look through the
designs and you don't have to have what's there. All designs can be altered
and changed to your requirements.
Q. Does getting a tattoo hurt?
A. This all depends on your pain threshold. Whilst
you are being tattooed, Needles are placing pigment under the surface
of the skin into the dermis. This will cause some discomfort but nothing
like having you arm chopped off. Just an irritation which won't go away
until the tattoo artist has finished his job. This is the only way to
describe the sensation.
Q. What is an all day session?
A. An all day
tattoo session is you being tattooed all day. This is only for large
custom work. Normally with with this type of work it is done in separate
hourly sessions which takes longer for the tattoo to be completed.
Doing an all day session also saves you money.
Q. Is it safe?
A. Yes. All the equipment is sterlised and for single
use, so there is no chance of cross contamination. Needles will be
taken out of packets in front of you, pigments (Inks) Will be poured
into disposable ink caps in front of you. These will also be destroyed
after you have been tattooed, you can even watch if you want. To find our more about our procedure, click here
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Tattoos start from £30, But if you contact the
studio by phone or email it is impossible to quote you a design. You
must come into the studio to show and tell me what design you wish to
have. We have thousands of designs to choose from or you can simply
bring your own design in.
Q. How old must I be to get a tattoo?
A. You must be 18 or over to get tattooed. If it is
your first tattoo or you appear to be under the age of 18 you will be
asked for Photo ID. Acceptable Photo IDs are Passport, Drivers licence
or provisional drivers licence. Permission from Mummy & Daddy are NOT acceptable forms of ID.
Q. How can I pay?
A. Cash Cash Cash !!!!!!!!!
Q. Why do I have to pay a deposit when booking?
A. This secures the appointment and is a guarantee
for us & yourself. When you have an appointment you are guaranteed
a time which will able you to walk in, have the tattoo done and walk
straight out the door. This saves you time for the rest of your day. If
you do not have an appointment you can simply wait a few hours whilst we tattoo the people ahead of you in the Q until it's your turn.
Please note that once you have booked your appointment your deposit is
non-refundable for the following: Not turning up, Late arrivals,
Rescheduling, Cancellations.
Q. Why is the deposit non-refundable?
A. Once we have booked in your
appointment time that session will be dedicated to you and your
tattoo. There will be loads of preparation like drawing and setting up
the equipment etc.. before you arrive at the studio. So when you do not
turn up, arrive late, reschedule or cancel the appointment there will
have been loads of OUR time and materials wasted.
Q. When are you open?
A. Opening times are 11am until 6pm Tuesday to Saturday. Appointments only on Sundays. It is recommended that you call
the studio before you pop down in case we are fully booked up, or have
decided to close early. The studio is closed Mondays due to a hectic 6
day week of tattooing.
Q. Do you do also do Body Piercing.
A. Yes. For more info visit our website www.southlondonbodypiercing.co.uk |
